About the Photographer

Quinn Kananack is a Cityscape and Architectural photographer based out of Nashville, Tennessee.

He started his photography journey in 2015 when he backed out of film school at the last second, and didn’t want to put his newly acquired camera (which didn’t shoot video he came to learn) right back onto craigslist. After his first outing, he quickly fell in love with the craft - despite most of his images being blurry, and poorly exposed.

The feeling of being in the moment, and focusing on what he wanted to focus on became therapeutic. He spent the next several years learning the in’s and out’s of photography, then finally reached the point where he felt comfortable enough to share his work.

Quinn isn’t an award winning photographer, he isn’t the next Ansel Adams, and he isn’t a game changer, but he loves what he does - and continues to develop his skills and to be enjoyed by others.

Sharing beauty is the name of his game.
